1 Chronicles 24:27
The descendants of Merari from Jaaziah: Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.
The descendants of Merari from Jaaziah:

Merari was Levi’s son and the ancestor of one of the three major Levitical clans. In the wilderness, the Merarites carried and cared for the frames, bars, pillars, bases, and other structural parts of the tabernacle. David’s organization of the Levites preserved these family lines for the ordered service of the house of God. Jaaziah appears only in this genealogical setting, yet his household was known and included among those appointed for sacred service.

Num 3:33-37 From Merari came the clans of the Mahlites and Mushites;…

Beno, Shoham, Zaccur, and Ibri.

These men formed a branch of the Merarite clan and were counted among the Levites available for temple responsibilities. Their inclusion shows that no family assigned to the Lord’s service was overlooked. The detailed record guarded the proper ordering of worship and preserved the inheritance of each Levitical household.
