Then the wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens,

Those who know God, understand His truth, and remain faithful in the time of testing will share in the glory of the resurrection. Daniel’s promise follows the resurrection of the dead in Daniel 12:2, placing this radiance in God’s future kingdom. Jesus echoed the promise when He said that “the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matthew 13:43).
