The Bronze Altar
(Exodus 38:1–7)

1 And you shall make an altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits wide; the altar shall be square, and three cubits its height. 2And you shall make its horns on its four corners; from it shall be its horns, and you shall overlay it with bronze.

3And you shall make its pots for removing its ashes, and its shovels, and its basins, and its forks, and its firepans; even all its vessels you shall make of bronze. 4And you shall make for it a grate of work of net of bronze; and you shall make on the net four bronze rings on its four ends. 5And you shall put it under the ledge of the altar from below, and the net shall be up to the middle of the altar.

6And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze. 7And the poles shall be brought into the rings, and the poles shall be on the two sides of the altar, when carrying it. 8Hollow, of boards,

you shall make it; as it was shown you on the mountain; so shall they make it.

The Courtyard
(Exodus 38:9–20)

9And you shall make the court of the tabernacle: for the south side, southward, hangings for the court of finely woven linen, a hundred by the cubit the length for the one side. 10And its twenty pillars, their twenty bases are of bronze, and the hooks of the pillars and their bands are silver.

11And likewise along the north side in length, hangings a hundred cubits long, and with its twenty pillars and their twenty bases of bronze. And the hooks of the pillars and their bands are of silver. 12And along the width of the court on the west side, hangings of fifty cubits, with their ten pillars and their ten bases.

13And the width of the court on the east side toward the sunrise is fifty cubits. 14And the hangings on one side are five and ten cubits, with their three pillars and their three bases. 15And on the second side are hangings five and ten cubits, with their three pillars, and their three bases.

16And for the gate of the court is a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet yarn and finely woven linen, the work of a weaver; with its four pillars and its four bases.

17All the pillars around the court shall have bands of silver, with their hooks of silver and their bases of bronze. 18The length of the court is a hundred by the cubit, and the width fifty by fifty, and the height five cubits, of finely woven linen, and their bases of bronze. 19For all the vessels of the tabernacle in all its service, and all its pegs, and all the pegs of the court are of bronze.

The Oil for the Lamps
(Leviticus 24:1–4)

20And you shall command the sons of Israel, and they shall bring to you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.

21In the Tent of Meeting, from outside the veil that is over the Testimony, Aaron and his sons shall arrange it from evening until morning before the face of YHWH; it shall be a statute forever for their generations with the sons of Israel.
