Good News Translation
The trumpets sounded the attack, and Cendebeus and his army were defeated, and many of them were killed. The rest ran back to their fortress at Kedron.

They sounded the trumpets, and Cendebeus and his army were put to flight; many of them fell wounded and the rest fled into the stronghold.

Then they blew war trumpets and attacked Cendebeus. His forces ran away, and many of his troops died in the battle. Those who escaped ran back into their fortress.
