Good News Translation
Judas was wounded in the battle, but his brother John continued to pursue the enemy as far as Kedron, which Cendebeus had rebuilt.

At that time Judas the brother of John was wounded, but John pursued them until Cendebeus reached Kedron, which he had built.

Contemporary English Version
During the battle, John's brother Judas was wounded. But John and his troops chased the enemy soldiers. Some of them ran as far as Kedron, the town that Cendebeus had rebuilt.
