Holman Christian Standard Bible
When the sons of the prophets from Jericho who were facing him saw him, they said, “ The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” They came to meet him and bowed down to the ground in front of him.

New American Standard Bible
Now when the sons of the prophets who [were] at Jericho opposite [him] saw him, they said, "The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha." And they came to meet him and bowed themselves to the ground before him.

And when the sons of the prophets which [were] to view at Jericho saw him, they said, The spirit of Elijah doth rest on Elisha. And they came to meet him, and bowed themselves to the ground before him. International Standard Version
As soon as the Guild of Prophets who lived adjacent to Jericho saw Elisha, they began to announce, "The spirit of Elijah is at rest on Elisha!" So they came out to meet him and they greeted him by bowing low to the ground in front of him.
