1Then the kingdom of the heavens will be likened (compared) to ten virgins, who having taken their lamps went out to meet the bridegroom. 2And five from out of them were moronic (dull, stupid), and five smart. 3For the moronic, having taken their lamps, did not take oil with them; 4However the smart took oil in the vessels with their lamps. 5And the bridegroom delaying, they all became drowsy and slept. 6And in the middle of the night, there was an outcry (shout), Behold, the bridegroom! Go out to meet him! 7Then arose all those virgins and trimmed (put in order, adorned, arranged, beautified) their lamps. 8And the moronic said to the smart, Give us from out of your oil, because our lamps are going out (extinquishing, quenching). 9And the smart answered, saying, lest it might not even suffice for us and you; go rather to those selling and buy for yourselves. 10And while going away to buy, the bridegroom came and those ready went in with him into the wedding feast; and the door was shut. 11And afterward, the remaining virgins also came, saying, Lord, lord, open to us! 12And answering, he said, Truly I say to you, I do not know you. 13Watch therefore, because neither do you know the day nor the hour, {in which the Son of Man comes}.

14For just as a man going away (abroad) out of the country called his own bond-servants and handed over to them that which he already had. denarii), and to one two, and to one one, to each according to their own ability; and directly went away (abroad) out of the country. 15And to one he gave five talents (worth about 6000 denarii), and to one two, and to one one, to each according to their own ability; and directly went away (abroad) out of the country. 16Having gone, he who received the five talents, traded (worked) with (in) them and gained another five. 17Likewise, he with the two, gained another two. 18And he who received one, having gone away, dug in the ground and hid the money of his lord.

19And after much time, the lord of those bond-servants comes, and makes an account reckoning (settling) with them. 20And he who received the five talents having come, brought to him the other five talents, saying, Lord, you handed over five talents to me; behold, I have gained another five talents. 21His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful bond-servant! You were faithful over (upon) a few things; I will appoint you over (upon) many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

22And also having come, he with the two talents said, Lord, you handed over two talents to me. Behold, I have gained two other talents. 23His lord said to him, Well done, good and faithful bond-servant! You were faithful over (upon) a few things; I will appoint you over (upon) many things. Enter into the joy of your lord.

24And also having come, the one having received the one talent said, Lord, I knew you, that you are a hard (rough, stiff, harsh) man, reaping where you did not sow and gathering from where you did not scatter. 25And having been fearful, having gone away, I hid your talent in the ground. Behold, you have what is yours.

26And answering, his lord said to him, Evil and indolent (reluctant, hesitant, lazy by dragging ones feet, shrinking back because unready, latin-piger-lazy) bond-servant! You knew that I reap where I do not sow and gather from where I did not scatter. 27You ought therefore to have put my money with the bankers (money-changers) and having come, I should have received my own with interest. 28Therefore take away from him the talent and give it to the one having the ten talents.

29For to everyone having (possessing) will be given, and he will have in abundance; and the one not having, even that which he has will be taken away from him. 30And cast out the useless (non-useful) bond-servant into outer darkness; there will be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.

31And when the Son of Man comes in His glory and all the angels with Him, then He will sit upon His throne of glory. 32And all the ethnicities (nations) will be gathered together before Him; and He will separate (mark them off by boundaries) them away from one another, just as a shepherd separates the sheep away from the goats. 33And he will set (make to stand) the sheep from out of His right and the goats from out of His left.

34Then the King will say to those from out of His right, Come, those being blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom having been prepared for you from the foundation of the world. 35For I hungered and you gave Me to eat; I thirsted and you gave drink to Me; I was a stranger (foreigner, guest), and you took Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited (looked upon/out for) Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me. 37Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You? Or thirsty and give You drink? 38And when did we see You a stranger and took You in? Or naked and clothed You? 39And when did we see You sick, or in prison, and came to You? 40And answering, the King will say to them, Truly I say to you, as much as you did it upon one of least of these My brothers, you did it to Me.

41Then He will also say to those from out of the left, Depart away from Me, those being cursed into the eternal fire having been prepared for the devil and his angels. 42For I hungered and you gave Me nothing to eat; and I thirsted, and you gave Me nothing to drink; 43I was a stranger, and you did not take Me it; naked, and you did not clothe Me; sick, and in prison and you did not visit Me. 44Then will they also answer, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or in prison, and did not minister (diekonesamen- serve) to You? 45Then He will answer them, saying, Truly I say to you, as much as you did not do it upon one of the least of these, you did not do it to Me. 46And these will go away into eternal punishment (to punish to curtail/restrict/impede/incapacitate, latin-supplicium-execution root is punishment); and the righteous into eternal life.
