| 2He who walks with integrity and practices righteousness, who speaks the truth from his heart, | 2The one who lives blamelessly, practices righteousness, and acknowledges the truth in his heart-- |
| 3who has no slander on his tongue, who does no harm to his neighbor, who casts no scorn on his friend, | 3who does not slander with his tongue, who does not harm his friend or discredit his neighbor, |
| 4who despises the vile but honors those who fear the LORD, who does not revise a costly oath, | 4who despises the one rejected by the LORD but honors those who fear the LORD, who keeps his word whatever the cost, |
| 5who lends his money without interest and refuses a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things will never be shaken. | 5who does not lend his silver at interest or take a bribe against the innocent--the one who does these things will never be shaken. |
