Berean Study BibleNET Bible
Of David. I give You thanks with all my heart; before the gods I sing Your praises.1By David. I will give you thanks with all my heart; before the heavenly assembly I will sing praises to you.
I bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness; You have exalted Your name and Your word above all else.2I will bow down toward your holy temple, and give thanks to your name, because of your loyal love and faithfulness, for you have exalted your promise above the entire sky.
On the day I called, You answered me; You emboldened me and strengthened my soul.3When I cried out for help, you answered me. You made me bold and energized me.
All the kings of the earth will give You thanks, O LORD, when they hear the words of Your mouth.4Let all the kings of the earth give thanks to you, O LORD, when they hear the words you speak.
They will sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.5Let them sing about the LORD's deeds, for the LORD's splendor is magnificent.
Though the LORD is on high, He attends to the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.6Though the LORD is exalted, he takes note of the lowly, and recognizes the proud from far away.
If I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve me from the anger of my foes; You extend Your hand, and Your right hand saves me.7Even when I must walk in the midst of danger, you revive me. You oppose my angry enemies, and your right hand delivers me.
The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.8The LORD avenges me. O LORD, your loyal love endures. Do not abandon those whom you have made!
