CSB Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleInternational Standard Version
LORD, hear my prayer. In your faithfulness listen to my plea, and in your righteousness answer me.1LORD, hear my prayer; pay attention to my request, because you are faithful; answer me in your righteousness.
Do not bring your servant into judgment, for no one alive is righteous in your sight.2Do not enter into judgment with your servant, for no living person is righteous in your sight.
For the enemy has pursued me, crushing me to the ground, making me live in darkness like those long dead.3For those who oppose me are pursuing my life, crushing me to the ground, making me sit in darkness like those who died long ago.
My spirit is weak within me; my heart is overcome with dismay.4As a result, my spirit is desolate within me, and my mind within me is appalled.
I remember the days of old; I meditate on all you have done; I reflect on the work of your hands.5I remember the former times, meditating on everything you have done. I think about the work of your hands.
I spread out my hands to you; I am like parched land before you. Selah6I stretch out my hands toward you, longing for you like a parched land. Interlude
Answer me quickly, LORD; my spirit fails. Don't hide your face from me, or I will be like those going down to the Pit.7Answer me quickly, LORD; my spirit is failing. Do not hide your face from me; otherwise, I will become like those who descend to the Pit,
Let me experience your faithful love in the morning, for I trust in you. Reveal to me the way I should go because I appeal to you.8In the morning let me hear of your gracious love, for in you I trust. Cause me to know the way I should take, because I have set my hope on you.
Rescue me from my enemies, LORD; I come to you for protection.9Deliver me from my enemies, LORD. I have taken refuge in you.
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me on level ground.10Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good Spirit lead me on level ground.
For your name's sake, LORD, let me live. In your righteousness deliver me from trouble,11For the sake of your name, LORD, preserve my life. Because you are righteous, bring me out of trouble.
and in your faithful love destroy my enemies. Wipe out all those who attack me, for I am your servant.12Because of your gracious love, you will cut off my enemies. You will destroy all who oppose me, for I am your servant.
