CSB Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
Christian Standard BibleKing James Bible
We give thanks to you, God; we give thanks to you, for your name is near. People tell about your wondrous works.1To the chief Musician, Altaschith, A Psalm or Song of Asaph. Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks, unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare.
"When I choose a time, I will judge fairly.2When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
When the earth and all its inhabitants shake, I am the one who steadies its pillars. Selah3The earth and all the inhabitants thereof are dissolved: I bear up the pillars of it. Selah.
I say to the boastful, 'Do not boast,' and to the wicked, 'Do not lift up your horn.4I said unto the fools, Deal not foolishly: and to the wicked, Lift not up the horn:
Do not lift up your horn against heaven or speak arrogantly.'"5Lift not up your horn on high: speak not with a stiff neck.
Exaltation does not come from the east, the west, or the desert,6For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south.
for God is the Judge: He brings down one and exalts another.7But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another.
For there is a cup in the LORD's hand, full of wine blended with spices, and he pours from it. All the wicked of the earth will drink, draining it to the dregs.8For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he poureth out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
As for me, I will tell about him forever; I will sing praise to the God of Jacob.9But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
"I will cut off all the horns of the wicked, but the horns of the righteous will be lifted up."10All the horns of the wicked also will I cut off; but the horns of the righteous shall be exalted.
