Psalm 130
ISV Parallel NET [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNET Bible
1I cry to you from the depths, LORD,1A song of ascents. From the deep water I cry out to you, O LORD.
2Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears pay attention to what I ask of you! 2O Lord, listen to me! Pay attention to my plea for mercy!
3LORD, if you were to record iniquities, Lord, who could remain standing?3If you, O LORD, were to keep track of sins, O Lord, who could stand before you?
4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be feared.4But you are willing to forgive, so that you might be honored.
5I wait for the LORD; my soul waits, and I will hope in his word.5I rely on the LORD, I rely on him with my whole being; I wait for his assuring word.
6My soul looks to the Lord more than watchmen look for the morning— more, indeed, than watchmen for the morning.6I yearn for the Lord, more than watchmen do for the morning, yes, more than watchmen do for the morning.
7Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is gracious love, along with abundant redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD, for the LORD exhibits loyal love, and is more than willing to deliver.
8And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.8He will deliver Israel from all the consequences of their sins.
