Psalm 130
ISV Parallel NLT [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
International Standard VersionNew Living Translation
1I cry to you from the depths, LORD,1From the depths of despair, O LORD, I call for your help.
2Lord, listen to my voice; let your ears pay attention to what I ask of you! 2Hear my cry, O Lord. Pay attention to my prayer.
3LORD, if you were to record iniquities, Lord, who could remain standing?3LORD, if you kept a record of our sins, who, O Lord, could ever survive?
4But with you there is forgiveness, so that you may be feared.4But you offer forgiveness, that we might learn to fear you.
5I wait for the LORD; my soul waits, and I will hope in his word.5I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word.
6My soul looks to the Lord more than watchmen look for the morning— more, indeed, than watchmen for the morning.6I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.
7Israel, hope in the LORD! For with the LORD there is gracious love, along with abundant redemption.7O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is unfailing love. His redemption overflows.
8And he will redeem Israel from all its sins.8He himself will redeem Israel from every kind of sin.
