Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.1Brothers, if someone is caught in a trespass, you who are spiritual should restore him with a spirit of gentleness. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.2Carry one another’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.3If anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself.
But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.4Each one should test his own work. Then he will have reason to boast in himself alone, and not in someone else.
For every man shall bear his own burden.5For each one should carry his own load.
Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things.6Nevertheless, the one who receives instruction in the word must share in all good things with his instructor.
Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.7Do not be deceived: God is not to be mocked. Whatever a man sows, he will reap in return.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.8The one who sows to please his flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; but the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.9Let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
As we have therefore opportunity, let us do good unto all men, especially unto them who are of the household of faith.10Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to the family of faith.
Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with mine own hand.11See what large letters I am using to write to you with my own hand!
As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.12Those who want to make a good impression outwardly are trying to compel you to be circumcised. They only do this to avoid persecution for the cross of Christ.
For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.13For the circumcised do not even keep the law themselves, yet they want you to be circumcised that they may boast in your flesh.
But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.14But as for me, may I never boast, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.15For neither circumcision nor uncircumcision means anything. What counts is a new creation.
And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.16Peace and mercy to all who walk by this rule, even to the Israel of God.
From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.17From now on let no one cause me trouble, for I bear on my body the marks of Jesus.
Brethren, the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. 18The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit, brothers. Amen.
