King James BibleBerean Study Bible
A Psalm of David. I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.1Of David. I give You thanks with all my heart; before the gods I sing Your praises.
I will worship toward thy holy temple, and praise thy name for thy lovingkindness and for thy truth: for thou hast magnified thy word above all thy name.2I bow down toward Your holy temple and give thanks to Your name for Your loving devotion and Your faithfulness; You have exalted Your name and Your word above all else.
In the day when I cried thou answeredst me, and strengthenedst me with strength in my soul.3On the day I called, You answered me; You emboldened me and strengthened my soul.
All the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hear the words of thy mouth.4All the kings of the earth will give You thanks, O LORD, when they hear the words of Your mouth.
Yea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.5They will sing of the ways of the LORD, for the glory of the LORD is great.
Though the LORD be high, yet hath he respect unto the lowly: but the proud he knoweth afar off.6Though the LORD is on high, He attends to the lowly; but the proud He knows from afar.
Though I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me: thou shalt stretch forth thine hand against the wrath of mine enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.7If I walk in the midst of trouble, You preserve me from the anger of my foes; You extend Your hand, and Your right hand saves me.
The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.8The LORD will fulfill His purpose for me. O LORD, Your loving devotion endures forever—do not abandon the works of Your hands.
