| 2Let those be ashamed and humiliated Who seek my life; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight in my hurt. | 2Let those who seek to kill me be disgraced and confounded; let those who wish me harm be turned back and humiliated. |
| 3Let those be turned back because of their shame Who say, "Aha, aha!" | 3Let those who say, "Aha, aha!" retreat because of their shame. |
| 4Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; And let those who love Your salvation say continually, "Let God be magnified." | 4Let all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; let those who love your salvation continually say, "God is great!" |
