| 2Great are the works of the LORD; They are studied by all who delight in them. | 2Great are the acts of the LORD; they are within reach of all who desire them. |
| 3Splendid and majestic is His work, And His righteousness endures forever. | 3Splendid and glorious are his awesome deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. |
| 4He has made His wonders to be remembered; The LORD is gracious and compassionate. | 4He is remembered for his awesome deeds; the LORD is gracious and compassionate. |
| 5He has given food to those who fear Him; He will remember His covenant forever. | 5He prepares food for those who fear him; he is ever mindful of his covenant. |
| 6He has made known to His people the power of His works, In giving them the heritage of the nations. | 6He revealed his mighty deeds to his people by giving them a country of their own. |

| 10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments; His praise endures forever. | 10The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; sound understanding belongs to those who practice it. Praise of God endures forever. |
