| 3Do not trust in princes, In mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. | 3Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver! |

| 9The LORD protects the strangers; He supports the fatherless and the widow, But He thwarts the way of the wicked. | 9The LORD protects those residing outside their native land; he lifts up the fatherless and the widow, but he opposes the wicked. |
| 10The LORD will reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. Praise the LORD! | 10The LORD rules forever, your God, O Zion, throughout the generations to come! Praise the LORD! |
