NET Parallel KJV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
NET BibleKing James Bible
Praise the LORD! Praise the LORD, O my soul! 1Praise ye the LORD. Praise the LORD, O my soul.
I will praise the LORD as long as I live! I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist! 2While I live will I praise the LORD: I will sing praises unto my God while I have any being.
Do not trust in princes, or in human beings, who cannot deliver! 3Put not your trust in princes, nor in the son of man, in whom there is no help.
Their life's breath departs, they return to the ground; on that day their plans die. 4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.
How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD his God, 5Happy is he that hath the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God:
the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful, 6Which made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all that therein is: which keepeth truth for ever:
vindicates the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The LORD releases the imprisoned. 7Which executeth judgment for the oppressed: which giveth food to the hungry. The LORD looseth the prisoners:
The LORD gives sight to the blind. The LORD lifts up all who are bent over. The LORD loves the godly. 8The LORD openeth the eyes of the blind: the LORD raiseth them that are bowed down: the LORD loveth the righteous:
The LORD protects those residing outside their native land; he lifts up the fatherless and the widow, but he opposes the wicked. 9The LORD preserveth the strangers; he relieveth the fatherless and widow: but the way of the wicked he turneth upside down.
The LORD rules forever, your God, O Zion, throughout the generations to come! Praise the LORD! 10The LORD shall reign for ever, even thy God, O Zion, unto all generations. Praise ye the LORD.
