Psalm 131
NIV Parallel ESV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
New International VersionEnglish Standard Version
1A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, LORD, my eyes are not haughty; I do not concern myself with great matters or things too wonderful for me.1O LORD, my heart is not lifted up; my eyes are not raised too high; I do not occupy myself with things too great and too marvelous for me.
2But I have calmed and quieted myself, I am like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child I am content.2But I have calmed and quieted my soul, like a weaned child with its mother; like a weaned child is my soul within me.
3Israel, put your hope in the LORD both now and forevermore.3O Israel, hope in the LORD from this time forth and forevermore.
