| 18But the eyes of the LORD are on those who fear him, on those whose hope is in his unfailing love, | 18Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; |
| 19to deliver them from death and keep them alive in famine. | 19To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. |
| 20We wait in hope for the LORD; he is our help and our shield. | 20Our soul waiteth for the LORD: he is our help and our shield. |
| 21In him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in his holy name. | 21For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. |
