| 2Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them. | 2The LORD's deeds are great, eagerly awaited by all who desire them. |
| 3Glorious and majestic are his deeds, and his righteousness endures forever. | 3His work is majestic and glorious, and his faithfulness endures forever. |
| 4He has caused his wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate. | 4He does amazing things that will be remembered; the LORD is merciful and compassionate. |
| 5He provides food for those who fear him; he remembers his covenant forever. | 5He gives food to his faithful followers; he always remembers his covenant. |
| 6He has shown his people the power of his works, giving them the lands of other nations. | 6He announced that he would do mighty deeds for his people, giving them a land that belonged to other nations. |
| 7The works of his hands are faithful and just; all his precepts are trustworthy. | 7His acts are characterized by faithfulness and justice; all his precepts are reliable. |
