| 2I long, yes, I faint with longing to enter the courts of the LORD. With my whole being, body and soul, I will shout joyfully to the living God. | 2My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God. |
| 3Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow builds her nest and raises her young at a place near your altar, O LORD of Heaven’s Armies, my King and my God! | 3Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she places her young near Your altars, O LORD of Hosts, my King and my God. |

| 5What joy for those whose strength comes from the LORD, who have set their minds on a pilgrimage to Jerusalem. | 5Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage. |
