17 And he bare his crosse, & wet forth into a place, which is called ye place of dead mens skulles, but in Hebrue Golgotha: 18 Where they crucified hym, and two other with him, on eyther syde one, and Iesus in the myddes. 19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the crosse. The wrytyng was: Iesus of Nazareth, kyng of the Iewes. 20 This title read many of the Iewes: For the place where Iesus was crucified, was nye to ye citie.
