17 They took Jesus, therefore; and, bearing the cross for Himself, He went forth into the place called "Place of a Skull," which, in Hebrew, is called "Golgotha;" 18 where they crucified Him, and two others with Him, one on each side, and Jesus in the midst. 19 And Pilate wrote a title also, and put it on the cross. And the writing was, "JESUS THE NAZARENE, THE KING OF THE JEWS." 20 This title, therefore, many of the Jews read; because the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city; and it was written in Hebrew, in Latin, in Greek.
