Add "blessing & glory" to daily worship?
How can we incorporate "blessing and glory" into our daily worship practices?

The Heavenly Reference Point

“ ‘Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and strength be to our God forever and ever! Amen.’ ” (Revelation 7:12)

Around God’s throne, blessing and glory pour out without pause. Our aim is to let that same chorus spill into traffic jams, lunch breaks, and bedtime routines.

Blessing: Speaking Good of God All Day Long

To “bless” the Lord is to praise Him with warm, thoughtful words. Psalm 103:1 calls, “Bless the LORD, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name”.

Practical Ways to Bless the Lord

• Start each morning with a sentence of praise before reaching for the phone.

• Turn worries into whispered “Bless You, Lord, for being bigger than this.”

• Work the vocabulary of blessing into conversations—“God’s been kind,” “The Lord provided.”

• End the day by recounting three gifts you noticed and thanking Him aloud.

• Sing a short doxology in the car; melody lifts truth into the heart.

Glory: Putting God’s Character on Display

Glory is God’s weighty splendor made visible. 1 Corinthians 10:31 urges, “Whatever you do, do it all to the glory of God”. We glorify Him when our choices mirror His nature.

Simple Habits That Showcase His Glory

• Excellence at work—finishing tasks thoroughly because His greatness deserves our best.

• Kindness in conflict—reflecting His patient heart (Matthew 5:16).

• Gratitude on social media—posting words that spotlight His goodness, not self-promotion.

• Stewardship—treating time, money, and health as entrusted resources (1 Peter 4:10-11).

• Testimony—sharing answered prayer so others see His power.

Woven Together: Blessing and Glory in Ordinary Moments

1. Begin with blessing: speak praise.

2. Move to glory: act in ways that honor Him.

3. Repeat throughout the day—bless with lips, glorify with life.

As blessing and glory intertwine, our calendars fill with worship that echoes the throne room: everyday settings transformed into sanctuaries, ordinary tasks into Hallelujahs.
