How can our church inspire nations to praise?
In what ways can our church encourage nations to "praise You, O God"?

The Heartbeat of Psalm 67

“Let the peoples praise You, O God; let all the peoples praise You.” (Psalm 67:3)

Why God Desires Global Praise

• He alone is worthy (Psalm 96:4).

• His salvation is meant for “every tribe and tongue and people and nation” (Revelation 5:9).

• When the nations praise Him, His glory is displayed (Isaiah 42:10–12).

How Our Church Can Encourage the Nations to Praise Him

1. Proclaim the Gospel Without Compromise

• Preach Christ crucified and risen (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

• Keep missionary reports and testimonies in services to stir passion (Acts 14:27).

2. Anchor Corporate Worship in Scripture

• Sing truth-rich songs that exalt God’s character (Colossians 3:16).

• Read passages about God’s global reign—Psalm 96, Isaiah 2:2-4—so the congregation internalizes His heart for the nations.

3. Pray Strategically for Peoples and Leaders

• Set aside regular times to “pray for kings and all those in authority” (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

• Adopt unreached people groups; display their profiles, languages, and prayer needs.

4. Invest in Missionary Sending and Support

• Train members through theological and cross-cultural courses (2 Timothy 2:2).

• Provide generous financial, emotional, and logistical backing (Philippians 4:15-16).

5. Cultivate a Missional Lifestyle at Home

• Encourage hospitality to internationals—students, refugees, businesspeople (Leviticus 19:34).

• Host multilingual readings of Scripture to reflect heaven’s diversity (Revelation 7:9-10).

6. Model Mercy and Justice

• Partner with ministries that serve the vulnerable—orphans, widows, persecuted believers (James 1:27; Hebrews 13:3).

• Display Christlike compassion so nations “see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16).

7. Leverage Technology and Media

• Livestream services with clear gospel presentations and language translation.

• Create short, shareable videos explaining key doctrines (Romans 10:17).

8. Foster Multigenerational Engagement

• Equip children and youth with a global vision through age-appropriate mission projects (Psalm 145:4).

• Mentor seniors to use their wisdom and time in prayer networks and short-term trips (Psalm 92:14).

9. Stand with the Persecuted Church

• Share their stories; pray corporately for boldness and endurance (Acts 4:29-31).

• Advocate through letters, petitions, and offering collections (Hebrews 13:3).

10. Celebrate God’s Work Publicly

• Testify often about answered prayer among the nations (Psalm 105:1).

• Mark global Christian holidays—Resurrection Sunday, Pentecost—with emphasis on their worldwide impact (Acts 2:5-11).

Living Out the Psalm Together

As we obey Christ’s Great Commission—“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19-20)—our church becomes a conduit through which peoples are invited, equipped, and emboldened to join the everlasting chorus: “Let all the peoples praise You.”

How does Psalm 67:5 connect with the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20?
