How to align with God's nations?
What actions can we take to align with God's gathering of nations?

God’s Promise to Gather the Nations

Isaiah 66:18 — “For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues, and they will come and see My glory.”

See and Treasure His Glory

• Make daily time for Scripture and worship that magnify who God is (Psalm 96:3; 2 Corinthians 3:18).

• Identify and remove every competing idol (1 John 5:21).

Proclaim His Glory to All Peoples

• Share Christ where you live and work (Acts 1:8).

• Build genuine friendships with internationals in your community (Leviticus 19:34; Romans 12:13).

• Invest in translation and distribution of God’s Word (Psalm 67:2; Revelation 7:9).

Pray in Step with His Plan

• Name unreached peoples before the throne (Matthew 9:38).

• Ask the Lord to thrust out and sustain workers (Colossians 4:3).

• Intercede for governments to permit gospel advance (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

Live as One Body Now

• Pursue unity across ethnic lines in your church (Ephesians 2:14-16).

• Celebrate diverse worship that exalts the same Lord (Psalm 117:1).

• Forgive and reconcile quickly (Colossians 3:11-13).

Welcome the Nations at Your Doorstep

• Offer language help, rides, or practical aid to newcomers.

• Invite internationals to meals and holidays (Hebrews 13:2).

• Partner with local refugee and immigrant ministries.

Send and Sustain Goers

• Give generously to missions (Philippians 4:15-17).

• Encourage field workers through calls, texts, and care packages (2 Timothy 1:16-18).

• Join short-term teams that support long-term efforts (Romans 10:14-15).

Walk in Holiness While We Wait

• Live spotless and peaceful lives that commend the gospel (2 Peter 3:14).

• Practice sacrificial love that points to Christ (John 13:34-35).

• Stay alert for the Lord’s return, when the gathering is complete (Matthew 24:30-31).

Look Forward with Certain Hope

Habakkuk 2:14 — “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD as the waters cover the sea.” Each step of obedience above aligns us with God’s sure promise in Isaiah 66:18.
