How to guide others to Jesus' healing?
In what ways can we bring others to Jesus for spiritual healing?

Setting the Scene—Mark 7:32

“Some people brought to Him a man who was deaf and hardly able to speak, and they begged Jesus to place His hand on him.”

Key Observations

• “Some people” chose compassion over indifference.

• They physically “brought” the man—love in action, not words alone.

• They “begged” Jesus—persistent intercession.

• They trusted the Lord’s personal touch to do what they could not.

Ways We Can Bring Others to Jesus

1. Intercessory Prayer

• Carry them to the throne: “The prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick.” (James 5:15)

• Pray specifically and persistently, just as the friends “begged” Jesus.

2. Personal Invitation

• Andrew “brought” Simon to Jesus. (John 1:41-42)

• A simple “come and see” can open a heart to salvation.

3. Practical Assistance

• The four friends in Mark 2 removed a roof to make access possible.

• Help overcome barriers—give a ride, babysit kids, translate, provide resources.

4. Storytelling

• The Samaritan woman testified, “Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did.” (John 4:29)

• Share what Christ has done in your own life; real stories invite real faith.

5. Loving Presence

• People brought children so Jesus might “touch” them. (Luke 18:15)

• Offer friendship, meals, hospital visits—let others feel Christ’s love through you.

6. Corporate Worship and Teaching

• “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

• Invite others to gatherings where Scripture is opened and truth is proclaimed.

7. Spiritual Partnership

• “Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.” (James 5:16)

• Walk alongside people in accountability and encouragement.

Living It Out Today

• Keep a running prayer list and pray by name.

• Look for obstacles (transportation, language, fear) and remove one this week.

• Tell one person your salvation story.

• Host a Bible reading in your home and provide a warm meal.

• Follow up—healing can be a process; continue caring after the first contact.

Scripture Connections

Mark 2:3-5—Faith of friends lowers the paralytic.

John 1:41-42—Andrew brings Peter.

John 4:28-30—Woman at the well brings her town.

Acts 3:6—Peter directs attention to Jesus, not himself.

Closing Encouragement

Jesus still responds to those who are carried to Him. Every time you pray, invite, serve, or share, you place a needy soul within reach of His healing hand. Keep bringing them—He never disappoints.

How can we apply Jesus' example of personal attention in our ministry today?
