What actions can we take to honor God's name in our daily lives? Why God’s Name Matters • Exodus 20:7—His name must not be taken in vain, because it reflects His character. • Psalm 115:1—Glory goes to Him alone “because of Your loving devotion, because of Your faithfulness.” • Matthew 6:9—Jesus teaches, “Hallowed be Your name,” placing God’s reputation at the center of our prayers. When His people live in line with His character, the world gains an accurate picture of who He is.
