How to honor God's name daily?
What actions can we take to honor God's name in our daily lives?

The Heartbeat of Ezekiel 20:9

“ ‘But I acted for the sake of My name, to keep it from being profaned in the eyes of the nations among whom they were living, in whose sight I had made Myself known to Israel by bringing them out of the land of Egypt.’ ” (Ezekiel 20:9)

God’s rescue of Israel was driven by His desire to preserve the honor attached to His name. What He did then shapes what we choose now.

Why God’s Name Matters

Exodus 20:7—His name must not be taken in vain, because it reflects His character.

Psalm 115:1—Glory goes to Him alone “because of Your loving devotion, because of Your faithfulness.”

Matthew 6:9—Jesus teaches, “Hallowed be Your name,” placing God’s reputation at the center of our prayers.

When His people live in line with His character, the world gains an accurate picture of who He is.
