Keep God central daily? How?
How can we ensure God's presence remains central in our daily lives?

Setting the Scene: Exodus 25:15

“The poles are to remain in the rings of the ark; they must not be removed.”

Why the Poles Matter

• The Ark was the tangible symbol of God’s presence with Israel.

• By commanding that the poles never be removed, God ensured the Ark was always ready to move with His people.

• The picture: God’s presence is not a stationary relic but an ever-present reality that travels with us.

• Just as the priests kept those poles in place, believers today keep certain “poles” fixed so God’s nearness stays central.

Keeping the “Poles” in Place Today

Anchor in the Word Daily

Joshua 1:8 — “This Book of the Law must not depart from your mouth… then you will be prosperous and successful.”

Psalm 119:11 — “I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You.”

• Practical step: set non-negotiable time each day to read, meditate, and memorize Scripture.

Practice Unceasing Prayer

1 Thessalonians 5:17 — “Pray without ceasing.”

Ephesians 6:18 — “Pray in the Spirit at all times, with every kind of prayer and petition.”

• Keep short accounts with God: quick prayers of praise, confession, gratitude, and request throughout the day.

Live a Lifestyle of Worship

Colossians 3:17 — “Whatever you do, in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus.”

• Worship is more than music; it is constant acknowledgment of His worth through attitudes, words, and actions.

Walk in Obedient Holiness

John 15:10 — “If you keep My commandments, you will remain in My love.”

• Holiness is not legalism; it is the joyful choice to align every area of life with God’s revealed will.

Cultivate Christ-Centered Community

Hebrews 10:24-25 — “Let us consider how to spur one another on to love and good deeds, not forsaking meeting together.”

• Fellowship, accountability, and mutual encouragement keep hearts sensitive to God’s presence.

Carry His Presence into Every Sphere

1 Corinthians 6:19 — “Do you not know that your bodies are a temple of the Holy Spirit…?”

Matthew 28:20 — “Surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

• Whether at work, home, school, or recreation, consciously invite Him to rule each environment.

A Life Ready to Move with God

When the “poles” of Word, prayer, worship, holiness, fellowship, and daily awareness stay firmly in place, God’s presence remains central and mobile in our lives—just as the Ark was always ready to move with Israel.
