See God's power daily: how?
How can you witness God's "power and glory" in your everyday life?

Setting the Lens: Psalm 63:2

“So I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and glory.”

David wrote these words in the wilderness of Judah. Cut off from the tabernacle, he remembered what he had already witnessed of God and let that memory shape his present experience. The same pattern guides us today.

Witnessing His Power and Glory in Creation

• Look up: “The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.” (Psalm 19:1)

• Look around: every sunrise, thunderstorm, and changing season is a sermon about divine power (Job 37:5; Romans 1:20).

• Look closely: the order in a snowflake, the symmetry in a flower, the DNA in a cell—each whispers, “He is mighty.”

Practical step: Begin or end your day outdoors for five unhurried minutes. Name aloud one aspect of creation you notice and thank God for revealing Himself through it.

Seeing His Power and Glory in Our Salvation

• The cross displays “the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Corinthians 1:24)

• Your new birth is a living exhibition: “If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation.” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

• Ongoing forgiveness magnifies glory: “He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins.” (1 John 1:9)

Practical step: Keep a short record of answered prayers and moments of conviction, repentance, and restoration. Revisit the list weekly to rehearse His saving power.

Recognizing His Power and Glory in Daily Provision

• Food on the table: “You open Your hand and satisfy the desire of every living thing.” (Psalm 145:16)

• Strength for work: “In Him we live and move and have our being.” (Acts 17:28)

• Providential timing: detours, delays, and unexpected opportunities often hide larger purposes (Genesis 50:20).

Practical step: Before bedtime, identify three specific ways God met you that day—big or small—and thank Him for each.

Experiencing His Power and Glory through the Body of Christ

• Spiritual gifts operating in unity reveal His manifold grace (1 Peter 4:10–11).

• Corporate worship mirrors heaven where His glory is ceaselessly proclaimed (Isaiah 6:3).

• Mutual care shows His power in weakness: “Bear one another’s burdens.” (Galatians 6:2).

Practical step: Engage purposely with a local church family—serve, pray, fellowship—to become both a witness to and a conduit of His glory.

Responding to His Power and Glory

• Worship: attribute to the LORD the glory due His name (Psalm 29:2).

• Obedience: act on His revealed will; power is seen when we walk in the light (John 14:21).

• Witness: share personal observations of His power and glory; testimony magnifies Him (Psalm 145:4–7).

Live every day like David in the wilderness—recollecting, recognizing, and responding—so that seeing His power and glory in Scripture turns into seeing them in every moment.
