Ways to feel God's presence daily?
How can we experience God's presence in our daily lives?

God’s Dwelling Made Personal

“Behold, the dwelling place of God is among men, and He will dwell with them. They will be His people, and God Himself will be with them as their God.” (Revelation 21:3)

Even Now, He Lives With Us

John 14:23 — “We will come to him and make Our home with him.”

1 Corinthians 3:16 — “God’s Spirit dwells in you.”

Matthew 28:20 — “I am with you always.”

Practices That Heighten Our Awareness

• Daily Scripture Intake

– Let the living Word speak (Psalm 119:105).

– Memorize short promises; repeat them through the day.

• Ongoing Prayerful Conversation

– Talk to Him in ordinary moments (1 Thessalonians 5:17).

– Listen in silence; give space for His whisper (Psalm 46:10).

• Obedience From Love

– “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word” (John 14:23).

– Acts of obedience open the door to deeper fellowship.

• Worship and Thanksgiving

– Praise anchors the heart in His nearness (Psalm 22:3).

– Keep a gratitude journal; trace His fingerprints.

• Fellowship With Believers

– Where two or three gather, He is present (Matthew 18:20).

– Share testimonies that remind each other of His activity.

• Service in His Name

– Serving “the least of these” is serving Christ Himself (Matthew 25:40).

– Expect to meet Him in the needs of others.

• Awareness of Creation

– “The heavens declare the glory of God” (Psalm 19:1).

– A walk outdoors becomes a sanctuary for praise.

Guarding Against Presence-Blockers

• Unconfessed sin dulls spiritual senses (Psalm 66:18).

• Distraction and hurry crowd out stillness (Mark 6:31).

• Idols of heart — anything loved more than Him — displace His rightful throne (1 John 5:21).

Living the Promise Today

Because the Lord will “dwell with” His people forever, we can welcome that reality into every moment now. Treasure His Word, talk with Him continually, walk in loving obedience, worship with gratitude, gather with His people, serve others, and pause to notice His handiwork. His promised nearness in Revelation 21:3 is already breaking into our ordinary days, and every step taken in awareness of that truth turns common ground into holy ground.
