What to do if others break your law?
What personal actions can you take when witnessing others "have broken Your law"?

Recognizing the Urgency – Psalm 119:126

“It is time for the LORD to act; for they have broken Your law.”

Personal Actions When You See God’s Law Broken

• Examine Your Own Walk

– Ask the Spirit to search you (Psalm 139:23-24) so you remain blameless while confronting sin (Matthew 7:3-5).

– Renew commitment to holiness, remembering, “Be holy, because I am holy” (1 Peter 1:16).

• Pour Out Intercessory Prayer

– Pray for God to open blind eyes (2 Corinthians 4:4).

– Plead for mercy and revival, following Daniel’s model: “We have sinned… O LORD, listen and forgive” (Daniel 9:5, 19).

• Speak Truth in Love

– Gently restore the one caught in transgression (Galatians 6:1).

– Season words with grace and salt (Colossians 4:6), aiming at repentance, not humiliation (2 Timothy 2:24-26).

• Live as a Visible Contrast

– “Let your light shine before men” (Matthew 5:16) so obedience is seen and God is glorified.

– Refuse compromise; like Daniel, stand firm even when culture pressures otherwise (Daniel 1:8).

• Uphold Justice and Protect the Vulnerable

– “Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed” (Isaiah 1:17).

– Use influence to restrain evil—vote, advocate, and serve where unrighteousness harms others (Proverbs 31:8-9).

• Extend Compassionate Help

– Bear burdens practically (James 2:15-16).

– Offer accountability partnerships, Bible study, or counseling resources to those struggling.

• Guard Corporate Worship and Teaching

– Ensure your church proclaims sound doctrine (Titus 2:1).

– Participate in discipline lovingly when necessary (Matthew 18:15-17; 1 Corinthians 5:11-13).

• Trust God’s Ultimate Action

– Rest in His promise: “Vengeance is Mine” (Romans 12:19).

– Await the day He sets all things right (Revelation 19:11-16), maintaining hope and perseverance (Hebrews 10:23-25).
