Why Wisdom Really Lengthens Life

• Guards from destructive choices (Proverbs 13:14).

• Fosters healthy habits—peace, diligence, restraint.

• Aligns us with God’s moral order; His blessing rests on obedience.

• Positions us for divine protection and favor (Psalm 91).

• Ultimately secures eternal life in Christ, the fullness to which every temporal promise points (John 17:3).

Living It Out

1. Seek wisdom daily in Scripture (Proverbs 2:1-6).

2. Ask God for it without doubting (James 1:5).

3. Walk it out in obedience, humility, and the fear of the Lord—“for that will be health to your body and nourishment to your bones” (Proverbs 3:8).
