1 Chronicles 25:5
All these sons of Heman the king's seer were given him through the promises of God to exalt him, for God had given Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.
All these sons of Heman the king’s seer

Heman served under King David as a leading Levitical musician and as a recipient of divine revelation. Alongside Asaph and Jeduthun, he directed prophetic worship with instruments before the Lord. Descended from Kohath through Samuel’s family line, Heman belonged to the Levites appointed for holy service. His household was therefore connected to the continuing ministry of worship in Israel.

God honored Heman by strengthening his household and extending his influence in the worship of Israel. Scripture often portrays a godly family as a blessing from the Lord and a means by which faithful service continues from one generation to another.

The record of fourteen sons and three daughters emphasizes the abundance of God’s gift. Heman’s children stood within a family devoted to the worship of the Lord, and his sons were assigned among the temple musicians who ministered before God’s presence.
