The succession of beastly empires ends when God judges the final rebellious ruler and removes human dominion from those who oppose Him. Babylon, Medo-Persia, Greece, and Rome demonstrate the rise and fall of powers that appear invincible for a time, yet remain subject to the Ancient of Days. Every nation and authority on earth will ultimately stand beneath God’s rule.

God’s faithful people, afflicted by the little horn and oppressed by ungodly kingdoms, will be openly vindicated. Their inheritance is received from God, not seized through earthly conquest. The promise reaches its fullness when Christ reigns and His redeemed people share in His rule, fulfilling the assurance that the meek will inherit the earth.

His kingdom will be an everlasting kingdom,

The kingdom belongs supremely to the Most High and is administered through the Son of Man, whose dominion is everlasting. Unlike every earthly empire, Christ’s reign will not decay, be conquered, or pass to another ruler. God’s covenant promise of an enduring throne finds its final fulfillment in Jesus Christ.
