Jer 7:3 Thus says the LORD of Hosts, the God of Israel:… Jonadab son of Rechab Jonadab, also called Jehonadab, had lived in the days of Jehu and had supported the removal of Baal worship from Israel (2 Kings 10:15–28). He commanded his descendants to avoid wine, remain in tents, and refrain from agriculture and permanent settlement.
