Protection and Preservation

God's power also serves as a protective force for His saints. In 1 Peter 1:5 , it is written, "who through faith are shielded by God’s power for the salvation that is ready to be revealed in the last time." This divine protection ensures that believers are preserved in their faith, even amidst trials and tribulations, until the ultimate fulfillment of their salvation.

Provision and Sustenance

The power of God provides for the needs of His people, both spiritually and materially. Philippians 4:19 assures believers, "And my God will supply all your needs according to His glorious riches in Christ Jesus." This promise reflects God's ability to sustain His saints, ensuring that they lack nothing necessary for life and godliness.

Victory Over Spiritual Adversaries

Believers are engaged in a spiritual battle, and God's power grants them victory over the forces of darkness. Ephesians 6:10 exhorts, "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power." The armor of God, described in the subsequent verses, is a testament to the divine power available to believers, enabling them to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

Hope and Assurance

The power of God instills hope and assurance in the hearts of believers, as they anticipate the fulfillment of His promises. Ephesians 1:18-19 expresses this hope: "I ask that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you may know the hope of His calling, the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and the surpassing greatness of His power to us who believe." This power is the same that raised Christ from the dead, underscoring the certainty of God's promises to His people.
