How Pleasant to Live in Harmony!
(1 Corinthians 1:10–17; Ephesians 4:1–16)

שִׁ֥יר (A Song) הַֽמַּעֲל֗וֹת (of the Ascents). לְדָ֫וִ֥ד (Of David).

1הִנֵּ֣ה (Behold), מַה־ (how) טּ֭וֹב (good) וּמַה־ (and how) נָּעִ֑ים (pleasant)

שֶׁ֖בֶת (is the dwelling of) אַחִ֣ים (brothers)— גַּם־ (even) יָֽחַד׃ (together).

2  כַּשֶּׁ֤מֶן (It is like the oil) הַטּ֨וֹב׀ (good) עַל־ (upon) הָרֹ֗אשׁ (the head),

יֹרֵ֗ד (running down) עַֽל־ (upon) הַזָּקָ֥ן (the beard)—

זְקַֽן־ (the beard) אַהֲרֹ֑ן (of Aaron)

שֶׁ֝יֹּרֵ֗ד (which is running down) עַל־ (upon) פִּ֥י (the mouth) מִדּוֹתָֽיו׃ (of his garments).

3  כְּטַל־ (Or like the dew) חֶרְמ֗וֹן (of Hermon),

שֶׁיֹּרֵד֮ (which is coming down) עַל־ (upon) הַרְרֵ֪י (the mountains) צִ֫יּ֥וֹן (of Zion),

כִּ֤י (for) שָׁ֨ם׀ (there) צִוָּ֣ה (commanded) יְ֭הוָה (YHWH) אֶת־ (-) הַבְּרָכָ֑ה (the blessing)—

חַ֝יִּ֗ים (life) עַד־ (even to) הָעוֹלָֽם׃ (forever)!
