Clap Your Hands, All You Peoples

לַמְנַצֵּ֬חַ׀ (For the one directing). לִבְנֵי־ (Of the sons) קֹ֬רַח (of Korah) מִזְמֽוֹר׃ (a Psalm).

1כָּֽל־ (All) הָ֭עַמִּים (you peoples), תִּקְעוּ־ (clap) כָ֑ף (your hands);

הָרִ֥יעוּ (shout) לֵ֝אלֹהִ֗ים (unto God) בְּק֣וֹל (with a voice) רִנָּֽה׃ (of a ringing cry).

2  כִּֽי־ (For) יְהוָ֣ה (YHWH-) עֶלְי֣וֹן (Elyon) נוֹרָ֑א (is to be feared);

מֶ֥לֶךְ (He is the King) גָּ֝דוֹל (great) עַל־ (over) כָּל־ (all) הָאָֽרֶץ׃ (the earth).

3  יַדְבֵּ֣ר (He turns back) עַמִּ֣ים (the peoples) תַּחְתֵּ֑ינוּ (under us)

וּ֝לְאֻמִּ֗ים (and the nations) תַּ֣חַת (under) רַגְלֵֽינוּ׃ (our feet).

4  יִבְחַר־ (He chose) לָ֥נוּ (for us) אֶת־ (-) נַחֲלָתֵ֑נוּ (our inheritance) אֶ֥ת (-),

גְּא֨וֹן (the excellence) יַעֲקֹ֖ב (of Jacob), אֲשֶׁר־ (whom) אָהֵ֣ב (He loves).

סֶֽלָה׃ (Selah)

5  עָלָ֣ה (has gone up) אֱ֭לֹהִים (God) בִּתְרוּעָ֑ה (with a shout),

יְ֝הֹוָ֗ה (YHWH) בְּק֣וֹל (with the voice) שׁוֹפָֽר׃ (of a shofar).

6  זַמְּר֣וּ (Sing praises) אֱלֹהִ֣ים (to God), זַמֵּ֑רוּ (sing praises);

זַמְּר֖וּ (sing praises) לְמַלְכֵּ֣נוּ (to our King), זַמֵּֽרוּ׃ (sing praises).

7  כִּ֤י (For) מֶ֖לֶךְ (the King) כָּל־ (of all) הָאָ֥רֶץ (the earth) אֱלֹהִ֗ים (is God);

זַמְּר֥וּ (sing praises) מַשְׂכִּֽיל׃ (with skill).

8  מָלַ֣ךְ (Reigns) אֱ֭לֹהִים (God) עַל־ (over) גּוֹיִ֑ם (the nations);

אֱ֝לֹהִ֗ים (God) יָשַׁ֤ב׀ (sits) עַל־ (upon) כִּסֵּ֬א (the throne) קָדְשֽׁוֹ׃ (of His holiness).

9  נְדִ֘יבֵ֤י (The princes) עַמִּ֨ים׀ (of the peoples) נֶאֱסָ֗פוּ (have gathered together),

עַם֮ (the people) אֱלֹהֵ֪י (of the God) אַבְרָ֫הָ֥ם (of Abraham),

כִּ֣י (for) לֵֽ֭אלֹהִים (are unto God) מָֽגִנֵּי־ (the shields) אֶ֗רֶץ (of the earth);

מְאֹ֣ד (greatly) נַעֲלָֽה׃ (He is to be exalted).
