The Bronze Altar and Molten Sea
(1 Kings 7:23–26)

1And he made a bronze altar, twenty cubits its length, and twenty cubits its width, and ten cubits its height.

2And he made the molten Sea, ten by the cubit from one brim to the other, round in compass, and five cubits its height, and a line of thirty by the cubit surrounding it all around. 3And the likeness of oxen was under it encompassing it all around, ten to a cubit, encircling around the Sea. In two rows the oxen were cast in its being cast.

4It stood on twelve oxen, three facing north, and three facing west, and three facing south, and three facing east. And the sea was upon them, and all their hindquarters were inward. 5And its thickness was a handbreadth, and its lip as the work of the lip of a cup, a lily blossom, taking hold. It contained three thousand baths.

The Ten Basins, Lampstands, and Tables
(1 Kings 7:38–39)

6And He made ten basins, and he put five on the right side and five on the left, to wash in them; the work of the burnt offering they would wash in them. And the Sea was for the priests to wash in.

7And he made ten lampstands of gold according to their ordinance and set them in the temple, five on the right and five on the left.

8And he made ten tables and placed them in the temple, five on the right and five on the left. And he made a hundred bowls of gold.

The Courts

9And he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and the doors for the court, and their doors he overlaid with bronze.

10And the Sea he set on the right side eastward, over against the south.

Completion of the Bronze Works
(1 Kings 7:40–47)

11And Huram made the pots and the shovels and the sprinkling bowls.

And Huram finished doing the work that he was to do for King Solomon in the house of God:

12The two pillars;

and the bowls, and the capitals on top of the two pillars;

and the two networks covering the two bowls of the capitals that were on top of the pillars;

13and the four hundred pomegranates for the two networks (two rows of pomegranates for one network, to cover the two bowls of the capitals that were on the face of the pillars);

14and also he made the carts;

and he made the basins on the carts;

15the one Sea,

and the twelve oxen under it;

16and the pots, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their articles.

Huram-Abi made these for King Solomon for the house of YHWH of polished bronze. 17In the plain of the Jordan the king had cast them in the thick soil of the ground between Succoth and between Zeredah. 18And Solomon had made all these articles in such great abundance that the weight of the bronze was not to be sought out.

Completion of the Gold Furnishings
(1 Kings 7:48–51)

19And Solomon made all the furnishings for the house of God:

The altar of gold;

and the tables, and on them the Bread of the Presence;

20and the lampstands, and their lamps to burn according to the ordinance in front of the inner sanctuary, of pure gold;

21and the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs of gold—it was the perfection of gold;

22and the trimmers, and the bowls, and the ladles, and the censers, of refined gold;

and the opening of the house, its inner doors to the Holy of Holies, and the doors of the main hall of the temple, of gold.
