Laws for Grain Offerings 1“ And when a soul brings near a grain offering, an offering to YHWH, his offering shall be of fine flour. And he shall pour oil on it, and he shall put frankincense on it. 2And He shall bring it to the sons of Aaron, the priests, and he shall take from it the fullness of his handful of fine flour and oil with all its frankincense, and the priest shall burn it as a memorial on the altar, a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to YHWH. 3And the remainder of the grain offering is for Aaron and for his sons; it is holy of holies† from the fire offerings to YHWH. 4And if you bring near an offering of a grain offering baked in an oven, it shall be unleavened cakes of fine flour mixed with the oil, or unleavened wafers anointed with the oil. 5And if your offering is a grain offering on the griddle,† it shall be of fine flour mixed with the oil, unleavened. 6You shall break it in pieces, and you shall pour oil on it; it is a grain offering. 7And if your offering is a grain offering in a covered pan,† it shall be made of fine flour with the oil. 8And you shall bring near the grain offering that is made from these things to YHWH, and he shall bring it near to the priest, and he shall bring it to the altar. 9And the priest shall lift up from the grain offering its memorial portion, and he shall burn it on the altar. It is a fire offering, a pleasing aroma to YHWH. 10And what is left from the grain offering is for Aaron and for his sons. It is holy of holies of the fire offerings to YHWH. 11Any grain offering that you⁺ bring near to YHWH shall not be made leavened, for any leaven, and any honey, you⁺ shall not burn from it a fire offering to the LORD. 12An offering of firstfruits you⁺ shall bring them near to YHWH; and they shall not be burned on the altar for a pleasing aroma. 13And every offering of your grain offering you shall season with the salt. And the salt of the covenant of your God you shall not allow to cease from on your grain offering; on all your offerings you shall bring near salt. 14And if you bring near a grain offering of firstfruits to YHWH, you shall bring near heads of new grain roasted on the fire, crushed grain from full heads for a grain offering of your firstfruits. 15And you shall put oil on it, and you shall lay frankincense on it; it is a grain offering. 16And the priest shall burn its memorial portion from its crushed grain and from its oil with all its frankincense, as a fire offering to YHWH.
