But when that servant was gone out, he found one of his fellow-servants that owed him an hundred pence: and laying hold of him, he throttled him, saying: Pay what thou owest.
Then one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, he that was about to betray him, said:
Now he said this not because he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief and, having the purse, carried the things that were put therein.
For some thought, because Judas had the purse, that Jesus had said to him: Buy those things which we have need of for the festival day: or that he should give something to the poor.
