| 3For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life—men with no regard for God. Selah | 3For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah. |
| 4Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul. | 4Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. |
