The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork. | 1The heavens are declaring the glory of God, and their expanse shows the work of his hands. |
Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge. | 2Day after day they pour forth speech, night after night they reveal knowledge. |
There is no speech, nor are there words, whose voice is not heard. | 3There is no speech nor are there words— their voice is not heard— |
Their voice goes out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them he has set a tent for the sun, | 4yet their message goes out into all the world, and their words to the ends of the earth. He has set up a tent for the sun in the heavens, |

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer. | 14May the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer. |
