The LORD spoke to Moses: "1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
Take Aaron, his sons with him, the garments, the anointing oil, the bull of the sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread, 2“Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments and the anointing oil and the bull of the sin offering and the two rams and the basket of unleavened bread.
and assemble the whole community at the entrance to the tent of meeting." 3And assemble all the congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting.”
So Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the community assembled at the entrance to the tent of meeting. 4And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the congregation was assembled at the entrance of the tent of meeting.
Moses said to them, "This is what the LORD has commanded to be done." 5And Moses said to the congregation, “This is the thing that the LORD has commanded to be done.”
Then Moses presented Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. 6And Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.
He put the tunic on Aaron, wrapped the sash around him, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him. He put the woven band of the ephod around him and fastened it to him. 7And he put the coat on him and tied the sash around his waist and clothed him with the robe and put the ephod on him and tied the skillfully woven band of the ephod around him, binding it to him with the band.
Then he put the breastpiece on him and placed the Urim and Thummim into the breastpiece. 8And he placed the breastpiece on him, and in the breastpiece he put the Urim and the Thummim.
He also put the turban on his head and placed the gold medallion, the holy diadem, on the front of the turban, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 9And he set the turban on his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and everything in it to consecrate them. 10Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.
He sprinkled some of the oil on the altar seven times, anointing the altar with all its utensils, and the basin with its stand, to consecrate them.11And he sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its utensils and the basin and its stand, to consecrate them.
He poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron's head and anointed and consecrated him.12And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him to consecrate him.
Then Moses presented Aaron's sons, clothed them with tunics, wrapped sashes around them, and fastened headbands on them, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 13And Moses brought Aaron’s sons and clothed them with coats and tied sashes around their waists and bound caps on them, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then he brought the bull near for the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull for the sin offering. 14Then he brought the bull of the sin offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin offering.
Then Moses slaughtered it, took the blood, and applied it with his finger to the horns of the altar on all sides, purifying the altar. He poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it so that atonement can be made on it.15And he killed it, and Moses took the blood, and with his finger put it on the horns of the altar around it and purified the altar and poured out the blood at the base of the altar and consecrated it to make atonement for it.
Moses took all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat, and he burned them on the altar.16And he took all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat, and Moses burned them on the altar.
He burned up the bull with its hide, flesh, and dung outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded Moses. 17But the bull and its skin and its flesh and its dung he burned up with fire outside the camp, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then he presented the ram for the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram. 18Then he presented the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
Moses slaughtered it and sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar. 19And he killed it, and Moses threw the blood against the sides of the altar.
Moses cut the ram into pieces and burned the head, the pieces, and the suet,20He cut the ram into pieces, and Moses burned the head and the pieces and the fat.
but he washed the entrails and shanks with water. He then burned the entire ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD as He had commanded Moses. 21He washed the entrails and the legs with water, and Moses burned the whole ram on the altar. It was a burnt offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering for the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Next he presented the second ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.22Then he presented the other ram, the ram of ordination, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.
Moses slaughtered it, took some of its blood, and put it on Aaron's right earlobe, on the thumb of his right hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.23And he killed it, and Moses took some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s right ear and on the thumb of his right hand and on the big toe of his right foot.
Moses also presented Aaron's sons and put some of the blood on their right earlobes, on the thumbs of their right hands, and on the big toes of their right feet. Then Moses sprinkled the blood on all sides of the altar. 24Then he presented Aaron’s sons, and Moses put some of the blood on the lobes of their right ears and on the thumbs of their right hands and on the big toes of their right feet. And Moses threw the blood against the sides of the altar.
He took the fat--the fat tail, all the fat that was on the entrails, the fatty lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys with their fat--as well as the right thigh. 25Then he took the fat and the fat tail and all the fat that was on the entrails and the long lobe of the liver and the two kidneys with their fat and the right thigh,
From the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one cake of unleavened bread, one cake of bread made with oil, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat portions and the right thigh.26and out of the basket of unleavened bread that was before the LORD he took one unleavened loaf and one loaf of bread with oil and one wafer and placed them on the pieces of fat and on the right thigh.
He put all these in the hands of Aaron and his sons and waved them before the LORD as a presentation offering. 27And he put all these in the hands of Aaron and in the hands of his sons and waved them as a wave offering before the LORD.
Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering for a pleasing aroma, a fire offering to the LORD.28Then Moses took them from their hands and burned them on the altar with the burnt offering. This was an ordination offering with a pleasing aroma, a food offering to the LORD.
He also took the breast and waved it before the LORD as a presentation offering; it was Moses' portion of the ordination ram as the LORD had commanded him. 29And Moses took the breast and waved it for a wave offering before the LORD. It was Moses’ portion of the ram of ordination, as the LORD commanded Moses.
Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled them on Aaron and his garments, as well as on his sons and their garments. In this way he consecrated Aaron and his garments, as well as his sons and their garments. 30Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and also on his sons and his sons’ garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons’ garments with him.
Moses said to Aaron and his sons, "Boil the meat at the entrance to the tent of meeting and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket for the ordination offering as I commanded: Aaron and his sons are to eat it.31And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the entrance of the tent of meeting, and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of ordination offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’
You must burn up what remains of the meat and bread.32And what remains of the flesh and the bread you shall burn up with fire.
You must not go outside the entrance to the tent of meeting for seven days, until the time your days of ordination are completed, because it will take seven days to ordain you.33And you shall not go outside the entrance of the tent of meeting for seven days, until the days of your ordination are completed, for it will take seven days to ordain you.
The LORD commanded what has been done today in order to make atonement for you.34As has been done today, the LORD has commanded to be done to make atonement for you.
You must remain at the entrance to the tent of meeting day and night for seven days and keep the LORD's charge so that you will not die, for this is what I was commanded." 35At the entrance of the tent of meeting you shall remain day and night for seven days, performing what the LORD has charged, so that you do not die, for so I have been commanded.”
So Aaron and his sons did everything the LORD had commanded through Moses. 36And Aaron and his sons did all the things that the LORD commanded by Moses.
