| 3Is there any limit to his armies? On whom does his light not shine? | 3Can his armies be numbered? On whom does his light not rise? |
| 4How can a human being become right with God? How can a human being be pure? | 4How then can a human being be righteous before God? How can one born of a woman be pure? |
| 5Behold, even the moon isn't bright, and the stars aren't pure in his eyes. | 5If even the moon is not bright, and the stars are not pure as far as he is concerned, |
