Psalm 96
KJV Parallel ISV [BSB CSB ESV HCS KJV ISV NAS NET NIV NLT HEB]
King James BibleInternational Standard Version
O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.1Sing a new song to the LORD! Sing to the LORD, all the earth!
Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.2Sing to the LORD! Bless his name! Proclaim his deliverance every day!
Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.3Declare his glory among the nations and his awesome deeds among all the peoples!
For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.4For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised; he is awesome above all gods.
For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.5For all the gods of the peoples are worthless idols, but the LORD made the heavens.
Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.6Splendor and majesty are before him; might and beauty are in his sanctuary.
Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.7Ascribe to the LORD, you families of peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!
Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.8Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name, bring an offering and enter his courts!
O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.9Worship the LORD in holy splendor; tremble before him, all the earth.
Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.10Declare among the nations, "The LORD reigns!" Indeed, he established the world so that it will not falter. He will judge people fairly.
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.11The heavens will be glad and the earth will rejoice; even the sea and everything that fills it will roar.
Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice12The field and all that is in it will rejoice; then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy
Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.13in the LORD's presence, because he is coming; indeed, he will come to judge the earth. He will judge the world fairly and its people reliably.
