David's Psalm of praise. I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever.1A Psalm of Praise, of David. I will extol You, my God, O King, And I will bless Your name forever and ever.
Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever.2Every day I will bless You, And I will praise Your name forever and ever.
Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.3Great is the LORD, and highly to be praised, And His greatness is unsearchable.
One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts.4One generation shall praise Your works to another, And shall declare Your mighty acts.
I will speak of the glorious honour of thy majesty, and of thy wondrous works.5On the glorious splendor of Your majesty And on Your wonderful works, I will meditate.
And men shall speak of the might of thy terrible acts: and I will declare thy greatness.6Men shall speak of the power of Your awesome acts, And I will tell of Your greatness.
They shall abundantly utter the memory of thy great goodness, and shall sing of thy righteousness.7They shall eagerly utter the memory of Your abundant goodness And will shout joyfully of Your righteousness.
The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.8The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness.
The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.9The LORD is good to all, And His mercies are over all His works.
All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee.10All Your works shall give thanks to You, O LORD, And Your godly ones shall bless You.
They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power;11They shall speak of the glory of Your kingdom And talk of Your power;
To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom.12To make known to the sons of men Your mighty acts And the glory of the majesty of Your kingdom.
Thy kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and thy dominion endureth throughout all generations.13Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, And Your dominion endures throughout all generations.
The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.14The LORD sustains all who fall And raises up all who are bowed down.
The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.15The eyes of all look to You, And You give them their food in due time.
Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.16You open Your hand And satisfy the desire of every living thing.
The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works.17The LORD is righteous in all His ways And kind in all His deeds.
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.18The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth.
He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.19He will fulfill the desire of those who fear Him; He will also hear their cry and will save them.
The LORD preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked will he destroy.20The LORD keeps all who love Him, But all the wicked He will destroy.
My mouth shall speak the praise of the LORD: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.21My mouth will speak the praise of the LORD, And all flesh will bless His holy name forever and ever.
